This week, Swarovski announced the new Xilion Rose Enhanced flat back rhinestone (article 2058) is replacing the existing line. Rhinestones Unlimited is the only U.S. distributor who has the Enhanced flat back crystals in stock and ready to ship today! We were chosen by Swarovski to introduce the Enhanced stone to the U.S. competitive dance, sport dance, and performing arts markets. The new Swarovski Enhanced flat back crystals feature a higher profile and smaller table (the facet on the top of the rhinestone). These improvements make it the most brilliant and intensely colored rhinestone on the market. Here are some side-by-side photos so you can see the difference for yourself!

The Xilion Rose was introduced in 2004, innovative because it had 14 facets. The new Xilion Rose Enhanced flat back, pictured on the right, also has 14 facets but the enhanced geometry of this new cut creates more brilliance and fiery colors. Next, let's look at a photo of two Crystal AB crystals, taken from the side.

Notice the higher profile of the new Swarovski Enhanced flat back rhinestone. Also, if you look at the the top facet, or "table" of the two stones, you can see the Enhanced stone has a much smaller table. Again, this is part of the improved geometry that Swarovski has designed into this exciting new flat back stone. This line of rhinestones (crystals) was originally designed for dance competition, dance sport, and performance arts. It is simply the most brilliant rhinestone for stage lighting.
