We know that unexpected costs can put a damper on your creative projects. That's why, in March of 2025, we made a proactive decision here at Rhinestones Unlimited. In anticipation of potential tariffs, we took a bit of a leap and brought in a significant amount of inventory before these changes could directly impact you.

Because of foresight and planning, we are committed to not charging our customers tariffs until January 1, 2026! That's right!  We planned ahead and YOU benefit!

The Latest News on Tariffs on Rhinestones

As of August 1, 2025, Rhinestones Unlimited and all U.S. consumers are being charged a 15% tariff on imported goods from the EU, which includes MAXIMA Crystals by Preciosa and LUX European Crystal. In addition, we are being charged approx. 34% tariff on Chinese imports which includes our Starcut Crystal and PriceLess Crystal.  But, as a customer of Rhinestones Unlimited, you will not pay tariffs - we are making this commitment until January 1, 2026!

Price Increases

We know that companies are "playing games" by saying no tariff but then significantly increasing prices.  We have further good news.  In September 2025, you will see our typical annual price increases on of 2%-5% start to update online.  But, you will not see any increases exceeding the increases we received from our manufacturers (We have been holding the annual Preciosa price increase that we started receiving in April ). There will be no tariff impact passed along as price increases.  

Tariff Impact on Special & Large Orders

Special ordered products will be subject to any applicable tariffs. Additionally, if you place a large order that exceeds our current in-stock inventory levels, we will be in touch to let you know how much of your order we can fulfill at the current, tariff-free pricing.  Anything purchased on our website and not in excess of current inventory levels (which is a lot!) will be sent tariff free!

What is this Tariff you speak of? 

For those unfamiliar, a tariff is essentially a tax imposed by the government on goods imported from other countries. These tariffs are collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection and, like the weather, are something that is unfortunately outside of our control here at Rhinestones Unlimited.
