Premium Austrian crystal since 1895

In 1895, Daniel Swarovski founded his company in Wattens, Austria, in the heart of the Tyrolean Alps. His work in precision crystal cutting made consistent, brilliant cut crystal possible at scale, shaping more than a century of design across jewelry, fashion, and performance. In 2025, Swarovski marked 130 years.

Timeline

  1. 1895Swarovski® is foundedDaniel Swarovski founds his company in Wattens, Austria, pioneering precision crystal cutting.
  2. 1999Rhinestones Unlimited begins carrying Swarovski®Swarovski is on our shelves from day one, supplying dancers, costumers, and designers.
  3. 2020Swarovski® steps backSwarovski exits the loose-crystal market, and Rhinestones Unlimited turns to Preciosa to keep customers supplied.
  4. 2026Genuine Swarovski® returnsSwarovski reopens access on June 1, 2026, and Rhinestones Unlimited is glad to carry it again by special order.
