Yellow is the hardest color to keep visible on stage. A transparent yellow stone depends on light passing through it, and under a warm wash it can read almost white or vanish into gold fabric entirely. Choosing a yellow is mostly a question of whether the stone needs to survive the lighting or simply add warmth.

Citrine is the workhorse and by far the most-stocked yellow we carry. It is a clear golden yellow named after the gemstone, warm enough to sit against gold without clashing and strong enough to read as yellow from a distance. Jonquil is lighter and cooler, closer to a pale lemon. Light Topaz leans golden and reads closest to our gold range.

Acid Yellow is a sharper, greener yellow with a chartreuse cast. Golden Dream is a warm golden shade, and Blond Flare adds a soft metallic sheen and also sits in our neutral range. Neon Yellow and Electric Yellow are opaque rather than transparent, which is what makes them the reliable choice when the yellow has to read from the back of a gym.
