Crystal Faerie is a loose mix of crystal bicones (double-cone crystals) and crystal balls, made from Preciosa's authentically crafted, lead-free Bohemian crystal. How do you apply Crystal Faerie to nails?
Crystal Faerie works best with GEMGEL Adhesive™, a resin adhesive that cures like a gel under a UV or LED lamp. Application takes five steps:
- Using a gel brush, apply GEMGEL Adhesive™ to the area where you want crystals.
- Holding the finger over a small tray, sprinkle Crystal Faerie over the wet gel.
- Gently press and compact the crystals into the gel to create a secure bed.
- Cure for 60 seconds under an LED lamp, or 2 minutes under UV.
- For extra hold, apply a thin layer of gel around the crystal edges and cure again. This is optional; the bond is strong without it.
One practical note: pour any crystal that didn't adhere back into the bottle for the next application. A 10 gram bottle covers far more nails than a single application suggests, since most of what doesn't stick on the first press gets reused. Which Crystal Faerie color should you choose?

Is loose crystal right for every nail look?
Not always, and it's worth saying so directly. Crystal Faerie is built for all-over shimmer across the full nail, not for placing a single statement stone or a precise pattern. For accent nails, French tips, or any design where crystal placement needs to be exact, individually sized flatback crystals give far more control than a poured blend.
